Our Process

I started from the feeling before the screens: discipline, but shared. The visual language is a bold pink wordmark, big rounded type and generous white space, with two colour themes (sun and sea) so it never looks like a bank.

Then the product itself, page by page: a landing page that explains the movement in one scroll, a sign-in flow with a one-time code by email so nobody has to remember a password, and the daily check-in that is the heart of the app.

What I built

01 - Landing and positioning

A one-page story in French and English, with link previews that read well when the URL is pasted into a group chat, which is how the app actually spreads.

02 - Check-ins that come to you

Every evening a short email opens the check-in for what you said you would do. It takes under a minute and it keeps the streak honest.

03 - Shared projects

A group can run a project with its own currency, say what still has to be paid, and anyone can press Pay. The owner keeps control of the transactions.

04 - Installable, fast, private

Built as a progressive web app on React with Supabase behind it: it installs from the browser, loads instantly and your budget stays yours.

Key Deliverables

  • Brand and visual identity (wordmark, colour themes, type)
  • Bilingual landing page with social previews
  • Email sign-in and daily check-in flow
  • Shared projects with transactions and reminders
  • Progressive web app, deployed on Vercel

Results and Impact

Rich & Friends is live and used every day by its first circles. It is the proof that a money app can feel like friendship instead of homework.
