Our Process

The look follows the mockup: hot pink for the panels, ribbons and big titles, ink on white for the products, and a charcoal footer with the name set edge to edge. The display titles are set in Instrument Serif italic with the letters pulled close together, and everything else in Poppins.

The photos mix free Pexels photos with reference photos supplied for the project. Each one is cropped for its place, kept off the models’ faces, and given one light grade so skin tones stay true. The three new arrivals are cut out on white, and the pink tulle set in the About section is cut out whole, down to its ribbon straps.

The animations use Motion, the framework-free version of Framer Motion: the hero settles in, the sections rise as you scroll and the pink set swings into place. With reduced motion turned on, or if the script never loads, the page is complete without them.

What I built

01 - A hero that fills the screen

“Nouvelle collection” is sized to fill the width in French or English, with a pink ribbon unrolling across it. The photo has its own crop for phones.

02 - A bag and favourites

Every product adds to the bag and to your favourites. The bag adds up the prices in Canadian dollars, and checkout is switched off, because this is a concept.

03 - Categories and best sellers

Black and white category photos in pink frames that take their colour back when you point at them, and “Nos chouchous”, a hot pink carousel of best sellers you scroll with arrows.

04 - French and English

A language switch that changes every word, the prices and the dates, and remembers your choice on your device.

Results and Impact

Jessica’s Secrets is a concept, not an official store yet. The bag, the favourites and the newsletter sign-up work in the page but send and store nothing, and the reviews are samples written for the concept.
